Hair Affair

Remember the post I had about my bangs. Now I am a girl with a short asymmetrical bob. It was a random decision but it was good, when it turned out perfect.

It was inspired by this lady from Riot Loco and my favorite actress in 90210.

I had short bob 3 years ago. It lasted me roughly around 2 years before I started to grow it out. So now, I pretty much got sick of it and I am back to my short bob routine. It takes time to style it but I love the fact that I am still able to do many different hair styles to my hair. It is never boring. I have to thank the guys who cut my hair. 3 turkish hairstylists in Sabanci University cut my hair. They were rather excited with cutting my hair short. I guess they do not have much customers who are willing to snip off so much hair and let them have the room to be creative with their cuts. I felt that I make the right decision to go to them for my hair cut. It was indeed perfect. <3

So this is my short bob!

<3 Ciao

Jeffrey Campbell Lita

As girls, we are always buying new items to add into our wardrobe. Do you have something that you really want, and wish to own? You may wonder what is this girl talking about. I was in London, beautiful city indeed, and I saw that pair of boots that I long to have since it debuted. Whenever I was free in Singapore, I will go to different shoes website to view this pair of boots. I can't believe that I will be able to see a whole collection, and be able to touch them, and try them on. It was a dream come true. I was practically jumping for joy! You may think that I bought the boots, but no I didn't. It did not fit me perfectly as I have imagined previously.

This is the pair of boots that I am talking about. Yes, the Jeffrey Campbell Lita that celebrities are wearing. The ankle area didn't fix nicely, it looks as though I have super super thin ankles, which isn't the truth. I tried them twice, think about it for two days and decided to just forgo the idea of buying it. It was really comfortable wearing them though it looks like it will kill me. I pretty used to wearing such heights. But, I do not want to waste SGD$240 on a pair of boots that does not fix nicely to me. My heart hurts because I really wanted that pair of lovely Lita. :( Oh well, I guess I will find another pair of boots that will scream "buy me and I fit you perfectly".

I know this post sounds hilarious but imagine you wanted something so badly and end up when you see the real deal, it disappoints you and you can't own it. :(

Tattoo

Many asked how I decided what tattoo suits me. I feel that tattoo should not be just purely for fashion or to set a trend. You need to find meaning in the tattoo that is inked onto you or else you will regret it for your whole life. Tattoo is permanent yet addictive. But one should not act on impulse, you should always have a concrete idea of what you want, and if possible discuss with your tattoo artist. They will provide you with the best advice since it is their profession.

My first tattoo was just a simple phrase but has a deep meaning in my life. Shits happened in my life but I learnt from them and grew more stronger. The phrase is "REGRET NOTHING". Two simple words that always remind me not to regret my actions and decisions. It was done when I turned 22 years old, a present for myself. I am proud of it because it describes me perfectly. The second tattoo is the crucifix that I always wear around my neck. A gift that I hold to heart dearly. It makes sense for me to have it inked on me because it has been with me since the day I was born. Added a bow onto it, to remind me about my faith.

If you think you are not up to doing something permanent, you can try Urban Decay's Body Jewelry. In the bottle, there are 3 full sheets of beautifully drawn designs. I felt in love instantly with the feathers. It is worth the purchase because you can wear them based on your mood or events that you have.

Spring Break

During my spring break, I decided to buy my air ticket to Italy (Milan, Venice, Florence and Pisa). It is a beautiful country with rich culture. Could not express my love for the espresso in Italy with mere words. It was above excellent. Food was delicious too. There are way too many things to talk about. All I could say is that Italy took my heart away (:

This post will just solely be spammed with food pictures because it is something that I will not be able to taste in Singapore. <3

Milan
The pizza that I ate was only 5 euro, and it was x2 of my face.

I love this dessert, it is a bun filled with gelato and chocolate sauce. Sounds fattening but it is the best happy food ever <3

Venice
Pasta was delicious. Ate carbonara and squid ink pasta. The taste was speechless in a good way.

Florence
Apparently I fell in love with the food that one particular restaurant served. It was in the neighborhood area, near the hostel that I was staying. Service was good, the boss was kind enough to serve us champagne while we waited for our seats. Food was reasonably priced. I went there 3 times within 4 days. I will surely make my way there again if I am in Florence. The cheesecake was so fresh that it melted in my mouth <3

I will post the remaning photos when I am much more free. (:

Longboard

Have you ever been inspired by something that you see and instantly you know that is what you want to try, that you want to do it for as long as possible? I have that after watching this video.

Thanks to Nihan from the Longboard Crew Girls (Turkey), I learnt how to longboard and she is an awesome teacher <3
I love the thrill of it. IT WAS AWESOME. I will try to do this long term. (:
