4 cups of water
1/2 cup of milk
Onion (chopped)
Carrot
Potato
Tomato
Spring Onions
1 tablespoon of oil
Salt
Pepper

How to do it?
1) Chopped all your vegetables up. Heat up a pot and when it is hot enough, add in 1 tablespoon of oil. Throw in the onions first. After 2 minutes, throw in the rest of the vegetables. Add in 1/4 cup of milk. Let it simmer for 5 minutes.

2) Place 2 cups of water and 1 packet of tomato powder together, mix well. Add this in after 5 minutes. Stir well and add the remaining cups of water depending on how thick you want the soup to be. Let it cook for around 10 minutes.

Before serving this soup, prepare some toast with cheddar cheese to go along with it. (:

What are your songs for the week?

As the days pass me by, I get stress over the never ending school work. The only thing that keep me sane is music that is plugged into my ears most of the time when I am in the library or in my room. So these are the tunes that I am addicted to for this week.
It is a good mix of korean and english music, as most of you guys know I am pretty much a KPOP fan. So here is the list of songs. I put the music videos up for you guys to enjoy my list of songs (:

Arter Gallery

Last Friday (16th March), I made a random decision to pop by to Arter at Taksim Square. I was amazed by the pieces in the gallery. It was the opening of the exhibition, if I am not wrong. It was crowded.
The setting of the gallery for the pieces were so perfect that I want to go in to see the pieces again.
I have 2 favorite pieces in this exhibition.
Ain't they gorgeous?
Besides those two, there are also interesting pieces that stand out on their own.

Recipe: Lemon Cream Sauce Mushroom Pasta

Cooking my meals in the dormitory has been a routine for me, because it is the cheapest way to be full and save money. I cooked this pasta with my friend and it tasted fabulous. Simple ingredients make good food.

Ingredients:
2 servings of pasta
1 packet of button mushrooms
Cheese of your choice

Sauce:
1 table spoon of lemon zest
2 slices of lemon
lemon juice of 1 lemon
1/2 cup of Spring onion (finely chopped)
1 packet of cream
Sugar
Salt
Pepper

How to cook it?
1)
Cook the pasta in a pot of hot water that has around a table spoon of olive oil in it. Cook it for around 15 minutes, or based on your own preferences.
2)
Preparing of the sauce:
Put 2 tablespoons of oil in your pot, add in the lemon zest and spring onions, stir fried them for around 2 minutes. Put in the chopped mushrooms, and cook it for 5 minutes. Season it with some salt and pepper. After that, add in the packet of cream, 1/4 cup of water and 2 lemon slices, and let it simmer slowly in the pot for 8 minutes. Lastly add in the lemon juice and a dash of sugar to balance the sourness in the sauce.
3)
Add the pasta into the sauce. Serve it with some spring onions and some cheese on top of it, and some deep fried onion rings as your side dish.

Herschel Supply Co.

I am in love with Herschel's bags. The lookbook for their Spring/Summer 2012 Collection makes me want to get one of those bags. The colors used for the collection are rather bright, and I usually call such colors as HAPPY COLORS, because just by looking at them, it brightens up your day instantly.

Besides that, the concept of their lookbook is pretty cool.
Quoted from Streething - The lookbook revolves around two teenagers who goes on a day trip to a secluded waterhole, a perfect choice to showcase the carefree and youthful spirit of summer.

I shall let the pictures speak for themselves (:

These two colors are my favorite...

KAPADOKYA

Spent 8th - 11th March in Kapadokya. It was mind blowing, and indeed an enjoyable trip. Went there with the erasmus group. We went crazy as usual... The sceneries were so pretty. I missed out the hot air balloon ride because I was on a budget, but I did horse riding and ride an ATV which were super fun. (:
I will let the pictures do the talking now...

Lastly, I will end this with 2 pictures that I love in this trip <3

her story: after

When you see this word "LOVE", what comes into your mind instantly? Based on the dictionary, the meaning of it is a deep romantic or sexual attachment to someone, though there are also other meanings attached to this word, and everyone define it differently. Have you thought about it after you broke up with the person you love, the person who you thought could be THE ONE?

I came upon this video from this korean pop group. Rather interesting concept for their comeback. But whatever mentions inside, somehow made sense to me.

A month has passed, I am loving the life in Istanbul

From the day I stepped out from Ataturk International Airport, I know the journey as an exchange student has begun. A change of environment, was waiting for me to explore.

Sabanci University is such a beauty. It is very different from the university I am from. The classes here are taught in a pace that makes me feel that class is not a drag at all. I am loving my typography and photography classes to be exact. The professors are really professional in how they comment our work in class, and I really learnt a lot. Besides that, I have an amazing bunch of erasmus students from all over the world. They make my stay here AWESOME.

Besides the people, food is also something that I love about Istanbul. It is really different from Singapore. I am sure I will be fat when I return to Singapore. Yet again, eating is bliss <3

I have so many things to share about this beautiful city. I can go on and on about it. (:
